As you travel Nova Scotia consider a stop at the Tidnish Bridge Art Gallery located at 3654 Route 366 (the Sunrise Trail). We are a cooperative of Cumberland County graphic artists, potters, and writers and have on display original works in many media: acrylics, oils, pastels, water colours, ink, and clay, matted prints, ceramics, a collection of fine cards, and books by Harry Thurston, one of Atlantic Canada’s better known authors.
Since 2010 the Gallery has hosted classes. Our artists offer small group and private lessons in sketching, drawing, water color, and acrylic painting, etching, ceramics, and writing. We also have visiting artists who provide specialized courses and instruction. Exhibitions for visiting artists, book launches by local authors, and other special events are scheduled throughout the season. Check our website and calendar to keep abreast of activities, workshops, and classes scheduled for the coming season. In our Contacts section you may sign up to receive our newsletter.
Last year we opened in May and remained open through October 18th, the weekend of the Art Across The Marsh Studio Tour. We are currently closed for the season but will be re-opening May 21, 2016. Check other pages on this website to learn about scheduled Events, Classes, Artists, and Workshops.
Several of our artists have their own websites which we invite you to visit:
